Keck DEIMOS Archive of High Redshift Candidate Galaxies

This dataset provides uniformly reduced DEIMOS spectroscopy of high-redshift galaxy candidates drawn from the Keck Observatory Archive (KOA) as part of the NASA ADAP project, “Automated Reductions, Analysis, and Dissemination of the Keck DEIMOS Data Archive: Science-Ready Spectra in Key Fields”.

The sample includes 323 complete multislit masks (1,928 science frames; 21,698 slits) obtained between 2002B and 2020A with the 600ZD, 830G, 900ZD, and 1200G gratings, selected from programs targeting distant galaxies and cross-matched with HST-based photometric catalogs. This Contributed Dataset includes science-ready 1D spectra, coadded 2D spectra, relative flux calibration, and associated quality assessments for both targeted and serendipitous sources.
