KODIAQ DR3 Archive: Data Products

QSO Spectra Data Directories:

Each QSO directory contains the following:

1) a README.tbl file
2) one or more directories containing spectra

The README.tbl file summarizes the directory contents and the files within them. The directories correspond to the date the QSO was observed, and includes the original PI in the directory name. Within each directory is one or more 1-D continuum normalized flux and error files (denoted by _F.fits and _E.fits respectively). Additionally, a preview image of the spectrum is given in .eps, .pdf and .png formats. Note preview images are for quicklook purposes only. Some images may have noise spikes that adversely affect the preview. Finally, the .dat file gives a listing of each KOAID for the original raw data files that went into the spectral coadd.
