| Column | | Description |
| KODIAQ QSO ID | | Unique identifier for each quasar in the KODIAQ survey in J2000 coordinates. |
| Target Name | | Name given to target quasar by the original Keck program PI during the observations. |
| PI and Date | | Identifier given to the observing run from which the data are obtained. Format is original Keck program PI and UT dates of observation. |
| Spectrum Prefix | | Name prefix for output spectrum. Will match the KODIAQ QSO ID unless multiple spectra of the same quasar exist with different HIRES configurations (setups) within a single observing run. |
| Reduction Setup | | Name given to a HIRES setup during data reduction of an observing run with HIRedux. |
| Decker Name | | HIRES decker position for the given setup. |
| Quality Flag | | Returns 'ok' for data without significant data extraction issues. A '-' sign indicates no data from a given mosaic chip (e.g. -r for no data extracted from the red mosaic chip). A '?' indicates the data may be of questionable quality, typically in wavelength solution accuracy. |
| Total Elaptime | | Sum of the individual exposure times for the spectra coadded within a HIRES setup. |
| Blue Wavelength | | Wavelength of the first pixel in the 1D KODIAQ spectrum. |
| Red Wavelength | | Wavelength of the last pixel in the 1D KODIAQ spectrum. |
| KODIAQ Release | | Data Release number for the KODIAQ spectrum. |
| RA | | Right Ascension of the KODIAQ quasar in degrees. |
| Dec | | Declination of the KODIAQ quasar in degrees. |
