The KI operated in two possible modes. The NULLING mode performed nulling interferometry in the mid-infrared N-band (8-13 microns). The V2 mode performed visibility amplitude measurements in the infrared H, K or L bands (1.65, 2.1, or 3.5 micron central wavelengths, respectively). Note that NULLING file sets also include V2 files, which contain simultaneous data from the near-infrared fringe tracker camera.
Leaving both options un-checked is the same as having both checked: both modes will be returned.
